I came here after hiking Breakneck Ridge. We originally wanted to try a different spot but they ran out of pork. We found an alternative spot nearby. The tres leche cake $5 tasted fresh and creamy. The 1 pound of pernil $14 was delicious but did include many bones. The half pound of roast pork $7 is basically pulled pork. It was juicy and soft. I would come back for the pernil. There is additional cost to using a credit card.

Came across this authentic Dominican Republican eatery that's like a hole in the wall. Super casual place with friendly staff. Decided to have braised beef short ribs over brown rice with beans. Meat was so tender and tasty!! There was so much rice that came with the meal. Would come back again to try other food items when I'm in the hood. Yum!
